“Matt” Baker, 42, of Milan, Illinois, and formerly of Maquoketa, Iowa, died on Saturday morning, July 1, 2023, in Milan, Illinois from injuries received in an automobile accident. ![]() In later years, she enjoyed traveling around the country in their motorhome.Ī Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Sunday, July 23, 2023, at the Earlville Community Center, 120 Northern Ave., Earlville, IA 52041 from 1-4 pm. During her military career, she could travel to many other countries. She was the Director of Nursing at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS when she retired in 2002 after 26 years of service.Ĭonnie was an avid reader and loved traveling. She is preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Elaine Calloway brother Jack Calloway, father-in-law Robert Fessler of Earlville IA, brothers-in-law Mike Fessler, Delbert Aldrich, Mike Wulfkuehle and sister-in-law Shari Dunkel, niece, Shelli Gray and nephew, Brian Fessler.Ĭonnie was a nurse in the US Air Force. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband William J (Bill) Fessler, sister Carol West of Gulfport, brother John Calloway (Carla) of Willis, TX, and sister-in-law Judy Calloway of Port Charlotte, FL, mother-in-law Betsy Fessler of Earlville, IA, brothers-in-law Don Fessler (Bev) of Dundee, IA, Bob Fessler of Ashland, NE, Jack Fessler (Ann) of Keosauqua, IA, Randy (Nicole) Dunkel, West DesMoines, IA, Chuck Fessler (Lisa) of Manchester, IA, sisters-in-law Ann Fessler of Durango, IA, Diane Aldrich of Manchester, IA, Karen Wulfkuehle of Dubuque, IA, Mary Jo Walhovd (Dana) of Lake Wales, FL, Donna Offerman (Dave) of Earlville, IA, Cindy Engelken (Doug) of Dyersville, IA and Karla Downs, (Jerry) of Strawberry Point, IA, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was interred at Biloxi National Cemetery on May 23, 2023. ![]() She passed away peacefully at home in Woolmarket, MS. Fessler, 72, went to be with her heavenly Father, on May 14, 2023.
